Mediterranean bedroom ready for arrival with a made bed, bedside tables, reading lights and a travel bag
Inspiration image. Furniture, finishes and availability are confirmed in each proposal.A home ready to welcome you.

You arrive late, put down your bag and close the door. At that moment, it matters less whether the home looks finished than whether you can rest.

In a newly purchased home it is tempting to start with what everybody sees. The bedroom is left until later, as though a good-looking bed and a correctly sized mattress were enough.

The first night asks for more: space to walk, a light within reach, somewhere to open a suitcase and storage for the things you do not want to carry on every trip.

If you are organising the property from another country, solving this room first removes urgent decisions from your arrival. You can review a proposal and agree what must be checked before ordering.

The useful question is not “which bedroom looks best?” but “what needs to work when I arrive?”.

01 / A complete bedroom without unnecessary extras

Five essentials.
A calmer arrival.

Every wall need not be finished. The key pieces should work together and avoid an emergency shopping trip after landing.

01

The bed

A size that suits the room and an access route for the base and headboard.

02

The mattress

Chosen for real use and preference, not a label alone.

03

The light

A lamp within reach on either side, without crossing the room at night.

04

A surface

Enough space for a phone, keys and a glass of water.

05

The luggage

Somewhere to open a case without turning the bed into a wardrobe.

02 / The order that makes decisions easier

Rest first.
Decorate second.

The headboard sets the look; the base and mattress determine how the room works. Choose from the inside out.

Fixed base or lift-up storage bed?

A simple base feels lighter; a storage bed gains useful space. Check that it can open without hitting nearby items.

Which size leaves room to live?

Allow for the wardrobe door, walking space, bedside tables and making the bed comfortably.

What should the mattress solve?

Explain who will use it, how often and what feel they prefer. Confirm the model and terms before ordering.

The home and its setting

Waking up here
can be planned too.

Soft light over the dunes, an early walk and a quiet home. The Costa Blanca is also enjoyed in these unhurried moments.

Inside, sand tones, pale wood, light fabrics and one note drawn from sea or earth can carry that calm without turning the room into a seaside theme.

Do not copy the landscape. Create the place you want to return to after seeing it.

03 / What one wall measurement cannot tell you

A bed may fit
and still not belong.

The width of the wall is only the start. Relate the bed to everything that moves around it.

  1. Door and wardrobe. Open both fully and protect a natural route.
  2. Bedside tables and sockets. Keep sockets visible and lighting positions logical.
  3. Windows and shutters. Leave access to handles, controls and cleaning.
  4. Delivery route. Corridors, stairs, lift and tight turns all count.

A plan is useful; access and some measurements may need checking. Plans and photos are optional at the start.

Route + opening + use

Test the bed, tables, open wardrobe and route. Empty space is part of the furniture plan.

04 / Prepare it before travelling

Three conversations.
No leap of faith.

Remote planning does not mean buying blind. It means dividing the process and confirming each condition.

Conversation 01

How you will use the home

Location, bedrooms, purpose, priorities and an approximate budget.

Outcome: a clear direction, not an endless product list.

Conversation 02

Which options fit

We review combinations, sizes, finishes and alternatives. You decide.

Outcome: a proposal you can understand and revise.

Conversation 03

What must be confirmed

Products, amounts, access, transport, assembly and timing for the order.

Outcome: agreed conditions, not assumptions.

From your country to your front door

Start with a short conversation and add only the information that is genuinely needed.

Plan my arrival

A home that waits between visits

Think about the day you come back.

In a second home the bedroom should work while you are there and remain easy to reopen after you leave.

  • Separate belongings that stay from each trip’s luggage.
  • Keep ventilation, cleaning and inspection straightforward.
  • Choose textiles and protection for the intended use and product instructions.
  • Leave surfaces clear enough to reset the room quickly.

Small decisions stop every return from becoming a complete reorganisation.

Products and care requirements are confirmed for the option chosen.

05 / Before the door closes

The first-night checklist.

  • Bed and base pass through the access route and leave room to walk.
  • The mattress matches the confirmed size and option.
  • Tables and lights leave sockets, windows and wardrobes accessible.
  • There is a clear place for luggage.
  • Transport, assembly and property access are agreed for the order.
  • The keyholder is authorised when somebody else provides access.
  • You know what is included and what you will arrange on arrival.

Questions worth asking before you travel.

Can I start without final measurements?

Yes. Tell us about the home and your needs; we will identify what must be checked before furniture is confirmed.

Can a mattress be chosen remotely?

We can guide you from use and preferences, show options and confirm the available model before ordering.

Can you store furniture until key handover?

We can assess this when the order and planning allow it. Dates and conditions must be agreed for each case.

Can access be coordinated while I am abroad?

With the owner’s authorisation and a responsible keyholder, checks or delivery can be coordinated.

Bedroom only or the complete home?

Either. Start with one room or use a complete package as the base.

What about Altea, Jávea/Xàbia or Benitatxell?

We assess these enquiries individually. Coverage, transport and assembly depend on the order, distance and access.
